A G.N.R. boundary marker on Wellington Street.

Post by Leodian »

I have attached a photo that I took on December 19 2024 of an old Great Northern Railway (G.N.R.) boundary marker just above the pavement on the former Wellesley Hotel, Wellington Street, Leeds.

I took a photo of this on December 10 2015 and thought that I used it on Secret Leeds at the time but if I did I cannot find it even though I've searched a lot, so if it is there please accept my apologies for the repeat. The photo I took on December 19 2024 shows there has been surprisingly very little erosion since the one I took on December 10 2015.
