LCT OPERATING NOTES FOR  AUGUST 1964

Leyland Titan PD2/11  No 219 was noted working from Hunslet garage on Service 74 (Belle Isle to Moor Grange) during the evening peak on 3rd July 1964.

     AEC Reliance \no 37 was used to take the Swinegate Angling Club to Ouseburn( between York and Boroughbridge, on Sunday 12rh July.

    New AEC Regent V No 956 was noted working from Kirkstall to Eastgate on Service 77 during the morning peak period on 16th July, whilst No 951 of the same type worked an odd trip to Halton Moor (Service 54) on the 27th July. Another of the series, No 955 was on service 70 (Central Bus Station to Primley Park) during the day on the 21st July. Buses of this type Nos 949 -63 are in use normally on Services 8.52 and 53 (Meanwood to Morley group). However during the morning peak period, they also work certain duties from Roundhay via Moortown to Corn Exchange on Service No 2.

     Daimler 569 was on Service 29 to Middleton on the 13th July.

     Bradford Corporation have had a Daimler Fleetline demonstrator, 565 CRW on trial during July. It has made several trips to Leeds on the jointly operated Service 72.
