I believe there was once a sort of trams' graveyard on Lowfields Road. Was this tram destined for the great tram shed in the sky?

M y brother and I were taken by my father to all the United Home games when Football resumed after the War and the trams that carried folks to Elland Road used to turn onto Lowfield's Road. Don't know if all of them stayed until after the game but there certainly was a long line standing that used to stretch nearly to Geldard Road.

Opposite Parkside Rugby ground there was and remained for years (may still be there now) a scrapyard. A couple of trams sat in that yard for years. They were progressively vandalised, before getting burnt out
