Horsforth, An Island???

Surely you can't use streams and small rivers to support an argument for somewhere being an island??If you could then the U.K. must be made up of literally thousands of small islands ?

Looks like im going to need some help from you Ossfuthers.Just been researching a branch of my tree thats been on the backburner for a couple of years.seems that ive at least 4 lots of families who im directly descended from are from Ossfuth.May need some help with place names/locations etc

Calm yersens down!! no need to gerr all up in t'air ovver nowt!! so Horsforth may or may not be considered an island by the true definition but of course to be classed as an island it has to be open water so take yer drains outside yer house and forget them! PIPES...... pish!!!! So when i'm in the bath i'm a fekkin island alreet!
