Great pics there maiden. Look how straight the Farnley & Wortley viaduct line is.

Phill, i don't suppose you've got any pictures of the old Farnley and Wortley station have you? Or do you know if the buildings there now that front onto Whitehall road are part of the old station? I've looked from Dragon bridge briefly but there's no footpath on that side and i don't fancy getting myself killed for a quick glimpse!!

I've looked from Dragon bridge briefly but there's no footpath on that side and i don't fancy getting myself killed for a quick glimpse!! Funnily enough i used to have that picture. The low building next to the garage? I 'm in the process of replacing & sorting all my stuff out & have deleted a lot of the cr@p. I'm 95% certain it was part of the station. I have an old pic somewhere (I think it's Leeds memories no3) I'll try dig it out. There was actually 2 stations there. I think the one you mention is the original untill it moved on to the Viaduct line @ a later date. One was called Wortley & Farnley & the Other was Farnley & Wortley although i can't remember Which was which???? There is of course Armley canal road still in existence. The platforms to Marsh lane are still intact (I'd love to find the entrance to that) & Hunslet platforms where still in place untill a few years ago, This guy has a pic here http://www.flickr.com/photos/51551857@N00/223247874/
