Anyone used this yet? Is it worth it?http://www.guardian.co.uk/leeds/2010/au ... t-opensYou know I think the Guardian is replacing the YEP as the local paper! Interesting strategy. Johnson press seem to give their local papers the look and feel of "freesheets" - full of adverts - little local news (usually several days old)

Will many people cycle into the city centre to leave their bike there and catch a train to somewhere else?Or are you mean to cycle to a suburban station, put your bike on the train into Leeds and then pay to leave it here all day?It makes sense to encourage alternative transport, but how is this meant to work? It's hard enough getting passengers onto peak time trains from Cross Gates, Headingley or Woodlesford (for example). It would be impossible to get a load of extra bikes on board too.Shouldn't this scheme be at the outlying stations so people can leave their bikes there securely during the day?

I supposed it could work the other way for me, but it doesn't solve my problem of getting my bike into Leeds, I could avoid using a bus to get from the city centre to work.
