Daily flights to New York?

In tonights YEP that the good folk at Leeds Bradford are looking to secure daily flights to NY from WY.Bosses at Leeds Bradford Airport have launched a campaign to offer daily flights to the United States which they say will create 400 new jobs and bring an extra £10m to the region.Project America aims to attract an American airline to LBA by the middle of the next decade offering a daily scheduled service to New York.Full story here:http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/n ... 5890097.jp

Jet2 just did a handful of special "Christmas Shopper" flights about this time last year. I don't know what the take up was like though.Friends who've flown to Egypt with Jet2 were less than impressed at the lack of inflight entertainment and the "snugness" of the seats.
