On my way to work I travel down Copley Hill, New Wortley, just after the first bridge after Skinners Skip Hire, there is a set of steps that have been fenced up.It looks like they lead up to the railway line and thought that they might have one time lead to a station.Would be interested to find out if anyone knowsLinie

There was a mass of rail sidings @ the top of the steps. Copley hill steam shed was in between the rail triangle near Wortley curve. I have some pics around there

Yep, it was the access to the sheds. My Grandad was based there as an engine driver on the steamers and early diesels.
