trying to upload pics although its now telling me file too big grrrr, would someone let me know how i can upload them please

I am quite surprised no one has mentioned the ultimate lost Leeds loco.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LMR_57_LionIt went missing for 80 or so years before being rediscovered and restored.There is another one in the National Rail museum at York, it was built in the round sheds in Leeds very early in steam train history, because the engines became too big to buld there, just can't remember it though.

Well now you've mentioned it! Thanks for adding it to the thread.In a sense its still lost to Leeds - its in a scouse museum!
It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!
