It looks as if there used to be a railway track on the bridge at Little Switzerland in Gledhow. Does anyone else know about this. I have mentioned this to FGVW who look after Gledhow Valley Woods and they said that there doesn't seem to be any remains of a track but must have a history.

Wish there was Simon. Unfortunately no. It's only a link between Bridge house & Gledhow hall, We used to use it as a short cut delivering the post untill they blocked it off. It would have been a steep little line if it followed into the woods. I'll post a pic from on top of the bridge. It's a lovely area tho!
