Do we have any good illustrators of cartoonists on S.L?I have some grand ideas for one regarding this scheme.Think spitting image satire, featuring the bumbling Councillor Snakefield, and Councillor Andrew F arter and co. It's for an upcoming website in the development stage. Anyone who can help, then please drop me a message. Thanks

Hope you find your cartoonist Phill. Can't wait.Okay found another map which is very interesting. The Park and Ride proposed for Stourton/Belle Isle might be a little lower in the ground than the idiots think.Look at where it will be and that is why the M621 and A61 might skirt around it. http://coal.decc.gov.uk/assets/coal/wha ... an.pdfThis is Dept of Environment map! Plus I checked some approximate times. Juntion 7 to the Light, 10 to 20 minutes by car. From the Park and Ride? Might as well park and catch a 110 as it's a more direct route. Plus it came to me that by removing free parking after 6pm and on Sundays they think people will use P&R.. Mmmmm...... The fight continues.. City of Leeds School..

There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

An unintended underground car park!Don't forget Wakefield and Co very nearly introduced congestion charging before being voted out of office - following a campaign when the opposition parties said that they wouldn't introduce congestion charging without high speed mass transit already being in place. Remember the camera festooned gantries on approaches to the city from the south for a trial?A cynic might think that is what they are pushing ahead with the hated follybus for, to go with the misguided bus lanes to the east and west of the city....

You good have a good point there Davey Wouldn't surprise me at all. They really are clowns, this lot. It's stuff like this that makes me think "how hard could it be to get into office in Leeds?!"....

Well personally I think this is the last straw with their lack of ambition and achievements for this City. They just may have opened up a can of worms that won't go away. I'm sure their future buffoonery will be coming under close scrutiny too.        Their busy resting on their laurels at the moment, they planted a twig of a tree in Dortmund Square. They don't think they have to do their next 'Leeds Jewel in the crown' project for another 5 years. It may even be a bigger job than a park bench if they are feeling on good form!

It may even be a bigger job than a park bench if they are feeling on good form!     That's what I am afraid of, as I wouldn't even trust them with a park bench installation!First the bench would change from the originally planned style to something most ghastly, as the costs for the original design had spiralled out of control. Then the colour would be changed and it would look even worse. Then the public consultation would be held and they would be told in no uncertain terms that Leeds doesn't want it. They'd declare the whole plan a success and implement it anyway. Money would vanish into thin air and we'd be told how lucky we are that they had delivered us such a project, and ensured they got maximum value for money!

It may even be a bigger job than a park bench if they are feeling on good form!     It's taken them how long to plant that tree? Just remember they dug up several trees that were already in Dortmund Sq in order to start this, and the promised benches for the square have not yet materialised.I'm beginning to think they've got their fingers in their ears and saying "la la la we can't hear anyone objecting" to the sillybus scheme.Having recently sampled German city buses, I'd rather have fewer doors and more seats, and this is what they are planning to have. Who wants to stand all the way into town?
I like work. I can watch it for hours.
