Ex Merchant Seaman, jumped ship in NZ in 1970...ex pat Leeds Lad. Born/lived lower end Camp Road, then up to York Road in the early sixties.

This preserved Leeds Bus (UUA 207 Leeds 207 Leyland Titan with Roe body) in private ownership. Photo'd at Llandudno traction fair on May 4th 2009 ( bank holiday so raining as usual).

It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!
