Ok. It seems that the plan alteration I did above has served it's purpose. However, it still doesn't seem clear, to me!! thereforeThe red line is old Wellington Rd. The blue line is the approx route of the old Gelderd Rd. You can plainly see the the new route, but old Wellington Rd can still be seen today!

Spot on that! clear as a bell! you can really see how it all comes together!! Brilliant!!!

To throw a bit more mystery on this thread i was suprised to spot this yesterday. I've passed it loads of times & never noticed before. The entrance looks to be in no mans land between Gelderd road & Wellington road looking at the bridge markings here

I always thought Wellington road was to the left & Geldered to the right. Perhaps the sign erector had a few beers that day?
