With respect, I'm a little puzzled here - it isn't an old bus by any means as with a "51" registration it only around eleven years old - this makes it only "midlife", and all the major operators have huge numbers of far older vehicles than this still in service and so they should be at the price.     Oh I see right, I didn't look at the reg plate. It just seemed old to me for some reason like one of the old Dennis Darts or something.Maybe I'm just too used to seeing all the brand new buses that First regularly spunk all their money on.

Too true Mork and, in my humble opinion, they're not a pretty sight. If the money wasted on "decorating" those vehicles was spent on a simple but very dignified and meaningful livery like the LVP bus has the area would look far more mature, and intending passengers would have no difficulty in seeing that a bus was coming !!
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
