No chance of a rail sighting in the final trench, has been excavated before.Note the polyprop pipe and tons of concrete.

More rail uncovered today, notice on LH side rail curving in.The big question has the rail moved from original position, the cut off end was how it was found..........or is it part of the crossover?Only an expert can tell.Also the large piece of connecting cable across the rail joint is visible.
