I too have noticed this helicopter that seems new on the block recently and I was going to post a thread....First of all I have noticed the military one a few times, it is very low and extremely loud and is of course, camouflage green colour.....The other I have noticed goes back and forth to what I presume is LBA? It is completely black and had orange/yellow stripes.Any ideas??Don't get me started now on the police helicopter.....!!! hah (EDIT: It does look a little like a Merlin helicopter)

And its a right pain the posteria - flight path right over my house just about every day. I wave a lot at them (with just 2 fingers)!!!

I work in a local HospitalDuring a conversation totally unrelated to this thread, one of our Consultants swore to me that when he was a SHO on rotation at the Leeds hospitals, that an Apache landed on the heli-pad.He also stated that it was a bit un-nerving being in an adjacent building, looking out of the window to see all that armament pointing at you........................"Nurse!, new Scrubs please!!!"
