Dam, unless it's like Esholt where pedestrians can walk through a gate at the side of barriers.

Esholt's a permissive way, it's closed one day a year. The works are fenced off. Knostrop's a closed site.

Ah thanks for that, still dam though! This info will save me an embarrassing trip to a barrier.
