Could these buses ever have been used as Leeds buses?

Railways, trams, buses, etc.

I took this photo on June 2 2013 showing 2 buses being used for a wedding party at the Queens Hotel, City Square, Leeds. I wonder if anyone knows if they could previously have been used as Leeds buses? Their livery has though presumably been changed. They were very eye catching and nice to see that they have an interesting new use.

This is a view of the 2 buses from the other side, which may help in identifying them.

Hi Leo.The buses belong to Yorkshire Heritage Buses of Halifax. They didn't run in Leeds. The first bus is a 1968 AEC Regent V. The 70 seat bus was delivered new to Southampton City Transport in 1968 and was originally dark red and off white. The one behind is a 1963 AEC Bridgemaster. The 72 seat bus ran in service around Hull.Neither buses carried the livery you see today.I think it's the Yorkshire Heritage Buses own livery.         Haaaaargh!

Cheers Trophy and Phill. Nice to see Phill your Blakey of 'On the Buses' fame. I wonder if there is a connection with our own SL excellent Blakey.

The buses are kept at Station Road, Luddenden Foot, if anyone wants to see them - there are examples of other buses too - including a Wigan Corporation bus.
