I spotted this pretty rare vehicle the other day in Burley whilst I was cycling into Leeds.I dont know if thats a private number plate or an Irish one or something... First time I've actually seen a real-life Delorean rather than the one in Back to the Future - I was chuffed to bits...!

There were more sold and still on the road than you might think. They have a meet at the Festival of Speed at Goodwood and a couple of hundred turn up. There are a couple in this area and I've seen that one around that area before.

I know I've seen one used as a wedding car but can't recall just where. They were built in Northern Ireland for a while.

My great niece who works at Beechwood garage was driving it to a supplier and she said the car was photographed lots of times. She was getting paranoid.

I'm not surprised it was getting photographed, especially in Burley / Hyde Park area with all the students around. I love classic / vintage cars and I really had never seen another DeLorean ever, apart from on the Back to the Future film. I've even been to classic and vintage car rallies and never seen one. I suppose cos the film is now seen as an 80's classic many folk will have the car ingrained in their memories from been a nipper. I was around 10 years old when the film came out.
