Hi, does anyone have any information or history regarding a underground cash distribution centre that was on lower basinghall Street in the city centre, I believe was run by Lloyd's Bank? Now before anyone thinks I'm planning the next hatton garden heist, I worked as a cash in transit driver for a while about 13 years ago and remember delivering bulk cash there, but I can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere, now I know there would be a degree of confidentiality around it, but I'm beginning to think I imagined it all😂, any help greatly appreciated.

This is the Cash Collection centre off Gelderd Road. Had a guided tour around there many moons ago when we were looking for a secure facility to unload cash on a daily basis.

Could you be referring to the former Bank of England in King Street?

Remember when we were at RPT Sid?
It's Like I said just round the corner from GKN Chep and External Coatings, as it was back then.

How long ago are we talking? Lloyds bank occupied most of the building with entrance on the corner of Bond Street and Park Row. The back of that building would have been on Lower Bassinghall Street. Memory deceives but I seem to remember an underground car park just before the Pedestrianised area that separated Lower from Upper.
