I used to ride from Apperley Bridge to Bingley Five Rise locks every Saturday and have a coffee at the cafe there. Back down the canal and have a breather at Salts Mill. It was a great ride along the canal

I used to love riding up and down the towpath as a teenager. We'd ride from Calverley to Shipley or Bingley and often used to help people open the locks.I've often thought it would be great to canoe down also.
