My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

Hey Si, congrats and al that - perseverance always pays off and, whilst it might not be what you wanted, it's back on the ladder which always helps - and back in touch with people which may give contact to see other openings. - keep at it mate.As for the pressure I can well imagine, work place stress more likely - all those mouth watering milky carmel bars just trying there best to force themselves upon (into) you - must be, unbearable. Have strength man

Aargh, aargh, and thrice aargh! ( to coin a phrase ) On sorting out maps to take to Si for him to work his magic on I find that I have misidentified the site of the mill pond. It was NORTH of the dogleg, and started immediately south of the Skinner Lane bridge, which may be useful to Phill's interest in the area round the later margarine factory. In addition I have noted that the stream from Beckett Street is shown as extending back parallel to Torre road as far as the Lupton Avenue area in Baines and Newsome's map of 1834.Hopefully Si will be able to post images of the appropriate areas of these maps to make things clear, so the thread doesn't have to suffer yards and yards of my convoluted verbiage!
