Two possible tunnels??

Well get exploring those murky tunnels my mate. can me and Chameleon have a little finer detail to pin point these tunnels if you can? We'd be no good here in the Army Recce unit would we? Just think of the carnage if we directed the air strikes lol

As you look at the photo, the "tunnel" I mean would be behind the tree on the left. As high as the piles and about 4/5 feet wide.

Is it the one with new stones layed round it. I had a look down the concrete (drain,outflow) near there on Saturday. I guess you mean that?

This will be the 'other side' of the tree simon, to get it into perspective. If I have chance, I'll wander over and try to get a piccy.

the "tunnel" is between the big yellow crane and the tree( give or take a few metres). Like I thought Phill, a culvert outlflow? Edit to add. I didn't see any new stones, just a bit of a bank and then the opening.

Yeah I know it. There is the concrete 'box' and the overflow now made all fancy with the new stonework held in place with that mesh there. They just seem to be a water course. I don't think anything major. It makes you think were they come out again tho! The building in the picture is were the Strangely familiar exhibition is. There's some good old Leeds photos. Lots of 60's and 70's stuff.

oh, ok, thought it'd be bugger all Aye, that building does have some wierd artwork in there. Some good stuff though! Now, Phil, get yersen a canoe and find out about the outflow tunnel behind YEP!!

There's loads of these outflows all along the river. There's some really interesting stuff further up. There probably about as high up as the bus depot on the river bank. A canoe is needed for those. Any offers guys?
