SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

I'm sure that many folks out there would seriously debate wheather Grafitti Art is actually an Art or an act of Vandals. On my travels round Leeds, I've captured some very nice looking work by these New Age Artists. Thought it would make an interesting thread since some of the work I've noticed is out of the main public eye in Leeds.

Up close and personal with TPN Guy

Well Hollywood i do know exactly where that is.. It's excellent. Most deffinately art and not vandalism the drunken chavs create. The detail they get with spray paint is amazing, very talented indeed. The guy who did this had seen my pics of his work on flickr & got in touch with me to tell me about it. He's goes by the name of Replete and the team call themselves the Trans Pennine Nomads or T.P.N for short as you can see the initials on the tramps bag. They travel between Leeds and towns accross the pennines to Liverpool creating there art work on suitable canvases. Indeed Phil...we & certain posse of explorers know the location of these works of Art. I seen the stuff by Replete on Flickr...it should be entered in the Tate Modern!I wonder how this debate will go, what do the people of Leeds think about all this??

This stuff is glorious. It's just a shame that it all gets covered over so quickly by more... mediocre work.I'm not going to delete any of it until someone tells me otherwise!
