SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

Wasn't sure where to put this, so apologies if it's in the wrong place.Does anyone remember the statue of an angel that used to be at the top of the drive in Cottingley Cemetary,I was told it was brought there from outside the Corn Exchange. We heard stories as kids that if you looked at it at night, the eyes used to follow you, scared me daft, i never liked walking home from school after that. Then one day it just vanished, i've no idea where it is now.

Hasn't it been restored to the top of the war memorial outside the art gallery?I understood it was taken down from there originally but has now been re-sited.
