Not in the best condition but I spotted this one the other week. It's on the end of Highbury Road / Monkbridge Road on the Meanwood- Headingley border.It looks like it says Monkbridge Stores and Taylor but I can't make out the bottom bit.

On the same trip I took a picture of this lamppost which is on the bend of Monkbridge Road. Anyone know what "Area 3" is or could have been? Is it just a border marker for the old Electricity Board?

It's a pity it's seen better days! I had a quick go @ photo editing it & restoring it back to it's former glory- but it's had it, gone for good i'm afraid :-(

Top maks to Bob's shoe repairs in Chasppel Allerton for bringing the old roof sign back to life. I captured it early Saturday morning getting a good old scrub up first.
