Hi, not sure if this will work, not tried to upload pictures before. Here goes.I have wondered for sometime now about what a stone was doing in the middle of the pavement on Swinnow Road. I found an old picture of the very spot and the stone is shown. I got the picture from www.leodis.net but it is not dated, 60s maybe. There is a post town boundary quite close but not on the same spot as the stone, but I was wondering if it maybe the old boundary marker between Leeds (or Swinnow) and Pudsey. On a 1853 map of the area there is a line shown and it is very close to this spot.Anyway I have taken a photo of the same view and of the stone. Sorry about the bins!
