As promised, here's the painted-over mosaic on the side of Moss'/Fulton's in Otley."DEALERS      IN..."Can anyone work out what the next line is?There are some more lines too, but these are obscured by the wooden boards.

Wow you did very well to spot that Si. Nice one.

Definitely "Groceries" but can't see any other words yet

Hi Blakey. It does appear to say GROCERIES, but there seems to be a second IN before it. Why would it read DEALERS IN IN GROCERIES?Hopefully Fulton's will have a major refit soon (long overdue) and we'll see behind the wooden hoardings.

Shame there is nothing to tie to the model shop, though. King Charles Street was on my first delivery when I joined Royal Mail in 2000. Thinking back, there was a Beattie's hobby/model shop, Cavendish Travel (who do tickets/travel packages for concerts), a Harry Earnshaw's shoe shop, the Contact Lens Service and the Canton Takeaway.

I'll try and get a better photo, Blakey, but it's laid out like this:                                    DEALERS                                         IN                                IN GROCERIESSee the post below where I've traced the lettering. The second IN can just be seen on the left hand edge. Unfortunately, I cropped-off the I in the original photo!I've since noticed that there's more mosaic lettering. On the corner just around from Fulton's entrance, is the word STORE. There could be more, but they are hard to make out under the blue paint. Letters with curves (O, G, S etc) stand out more.

Having traced it out as a second IN, I think I've sussed it. It says:                                 DEALERS                                     IN                            FINE GROCERIES You can just make out the E. This would make the design symetrical.
