Wonder if anyone knows of any archive of recordings of the church bells of Leeds. So many churches have vanished it would be nice to have known what they sounded like.

Would be nice to have something similar for clock chimes of Leeds e.g. Leeds Townhall, Morley Townhall, Thornton Arcade etc.

Most of the Leeds churches with bells have survived. St Matthew, Holbeck's bells were transferred to, I think, Swillington, while those from St Francis RC, Holbeck, are now in St Anne's RC Cathedral. St Peter, Bramley, is currently undergoing tower repairs, but the bells will ring again on completion.
