Ha.. thanks folks... It was on the cards to be done. but i felt the infamy had already been achieved and the story should have been run much later in the year considering we'd just made unexpected headline news in The Wakefield express last month The full story of that is herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/2149274587/    Hopefully now the library will be more in the public scrutiny, with some action to follow soon. Lets hope it's saved before it gets torched or trashed to oblivion.

Nice one mate, glad you got in the papers, should make people more aware of what you're trying to do. And really, what you're doing is giving people in the future that are interested in the history of leeds etc the chance to look at what it was like then, or what was there then. In a way its kinda like leodis, if it wasnt for those people back then taking them photo's, then we'd never know really. And as for tresspassing, dont worry. Your doin us all a favour when you think about it.so well done

its okay phill. Im only 20, but after looking up leeds on google i came across this site, and after reading all sorts, it made me interested in where i was brought up etc. I looked on your profile and saw that your a joiner, as i am too, so surely when the papers say ''the building is structurally unsafe'' you know as well as i do when its safe or not! What you do is great, and if i was in your boots id do the same, and carry on exploring. If the council or police moan, look at all these people on here you have to stick up for you, im sure every single member would stand next to you and say what you are doing is good for everyone in leeds
