Do we have a Rothwell correspondent? The Rothwell Civil Defence Control Centre is one of those things that just sat there not being noticed very much. It was next to the Fire Station on Carlton Lane. I drove past last year and it looked like there was a new development on the site.Looking on google earth it looks like the bunker has gone. Does anyone local know what happened and whether there were any objections to the demolition?Thanks.
