This is Queens Court, Lower Briggate, where all the trendy bars are now. The entrance behind the cars leads to a dog leg and then out into Call Lane.

Looking at this on youtube at 9 seconds in you can see the semi circular arch has been bricked up plus the beam over the entrance.
