My mum mentioned to me last night that she can remember as a child that the old city museum housedthe bones of a large dinosaur. Doers anyone else remember this (i'm much too young) and if so - what sort of dinosaur was it and secondly will it be on display when the museum re-opens?Thanks in advance

Still seems like a while away yet!

Here he is... (photo from www.leodis.net)I think that tiger is more famous than Sir Jimmy Saville, Alan Bennett, the Kaiser Chiefs..!Perhaps we should start a campaign. Immediately before the opening ceremony for the new museum, the (newly brushed & shampooed) tiger should be paraded around the City Centre in an open top bus, then formally instated as a Freeman of the City before being put back on display for future generations.
