SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

Following on from my post about New York Place in Bramley, and after looking at the maps that have kindly been put on here, can anyone direct me where to look to find out about the church and the Methodist Chapel which were in the area where the Gamble Hill estate is now. TIA
