Hi

I wonder if anyone can help trace some info on 'Dunderdale Yard'. My gr-gr-grandfather (Tom Robinson) and his parents (George and Ann Robinson) lived at number 3 Dunderdale Yard in 1881. George is listed as an Iron Moulder. The census says that this yard is 'near Wortley'. It must be either a large yard or a crammed space as the census shows at least 7 houses with at least twenty four people living in them.

Can anyone help?

1908 just south of the church in the centre.

I hope Cardiarms that you do not mind me adding this rotated and slightly enlarged section of your map. Dunderdale Yard is about in the centre.

I'd concur with that Spence Lane, Holbeck Lane and Domestic Street are still there as is of course Whitehall Road but for the bit obliterated by the Ingram Road Distributor (Inner Ring Road/Outer Loop)
