Looking at the 1847 map of Leeds,I noticed that next to St Peter's Church is marked "Inghamite Chapel".I had never heard of this sect, but a quick Google turned up the fact that an evangelist from Ossett, one Benjamin Ingham formed him own sect which lasted for quite while.Amazing what one can learn from a close look at old maps.I find the 1847 series Ordnance Survey maps a real help when looking for old stone etc,as that edition has named wells, springs, woods, old stones etc which were gradually left off later editions.
