The very old interestingly bound large book of Shakespeare's plays and other items that are currently on display by the Business section of the Central Reference Library are all fascinating to see.

With so much on-line and available from the comfort of home, it is easy to forget the more traditional methods of record researching - and often there is more to be found in hard copy than our familiar electronic archives.I know some of our users already frequent the Library ( and Mrs C was often seen as 'lost in action' for hours at a time in the depths of the books and records there).I suspect Louise and colleagues will be rather busy once folk here read this.

for the benefit of newcomers ,mention should also be made of the private Leeds Library on Commercial Street ,which also hold a vast collection of information in respect of Leeds and Yorkshire amongst their holdings.
