There used to be a Graham's Bathrooms showroom on the site in the 1970s but I don't know when it closed.

Hi Polo. This photo, which I took on November 27 2012, shows the Westgate view of the building. I don't though recall what it was used as.

The words "Service Station" (and a separate "B") can be made out in this photo (taken November 27 2012) which suggests at least that part was a garage service station.

Bridge House and the adjoining Compton House were earmarked for a huge development just before the credit crunch, but obviously that's fallen by the wayside. I do remember it being a bathroom showroom though! Graham's Plumbers Merchants is still going, it was their place at least at some point in the early 70s.
