Hi All,Doing a little research on my family. According to the 1911 census, my great, great grandad, Andrew White lived at 3 Askern Place, working as a nail maker. There was a nail mill literally at the end of his street, this was called Ingham J & J & Co Ltd. For those that don't know the area, it is where Morrisons is now, and the Leek Street flats before that.Basically, just wanting to know if anyone has any memories, pics, info etc about the area. I have found a few pics on Leodis of the actual street, even found a pic of the factory. I understand there was a big accident which resulted in 6 women workers being killed at the nail mill in 1885Thanks all

Lovely photo but it makes me feel quite sad - all those houses and people - nothing like it is now.
