Ah - yes, good point. There is a redirection thing in place for a couple of days to handle the server switch. They'll start working again in a day or two. D'oh. Sorry about that.

Thanks Dalehelms. This article shows perfectly how a story subtly changes through the re-telling, doesn't it?I don't think we've heard Crown Court being called Skull and Stone Yard before. I left a comment referring the author to this site.

Thank you for alerting the author. I get the feeling that he/she is a Leeds person, so might be a member of SL already.

Yes, tyke bhoy, I eventually managed it. The problem was to do with right and left clicks on the mouse. I was reduced to tears in the end and needed the assistance of a familiar name on this site.

looking at the site mentioned for the quarry Hill photo's i stumbled across this on inputting folklore:http://www.leeds.ac.uk/library/spcoll/l ... tm#Sedimit looks like there is a lot of interesting stuff in there if it is catalogued.Dare one hope there might be something about the skulls lurking within? If anyone has access to this and some hours to spare,it could be useful having a look.
