The Mitre has two threads of it's own on here. Using MITRE in the search utility brings up about half a dozen threads with information about the pub.Too tender an age to remember it myself.

I could be mistaken, it was a long time ago, but I think you went down a flight of stairs into The Mitre. It was of course situated where everyone on here says and I'm pretty sure it was men only.
