Does anyone have any info about Holbeck School which later became Holbeck Boys School? I particularly want to know when the school was in existence & where it was located. I have 2 school photos of my grandad & his sister which I believe were taken in about 1904 & 1910 & the children are holding up boards showing the school name & their Class year. Any help much appreciated.

I have had a look at Holbeck maps circa 1910. Unfortunately all the schools are marked as "Schools" with no further info.Do you know on which street your Grandad lived ?

They lived on Weston Terrace (Sweet Street area) in the 1911 Census.

Sorry for the late reply. You can't see much of the school on these photos as the children are in front of the outside wall. I hope it's enough to tell if it's the school on Czar Street.
