Can anyone help me with any information about The Beckett Home For Girls (1887 - 1934). It was at Greenwood Mount, Meanwood & housed 30 girls.http://www.hiddenlives.org.uk/homes/MEANW02.htmlOther than the above website I can't find any info about the school/home. We have just learned that my great grandma was there for a year when she was 13 but we don't know why she was placed there. She then returned to the family home.
