I have an black iron feature on my wall and know its from the days of the "coal ole" where the coal was delivered.I was wondering who Fred Verity was and where he was based.I have taken a photo but its likely I wont be able to put it on.

I was brought up in a back to back in Morley and we had a cast iron coal fired range, which had their name cast into it. My mother had to black lead it to keep it looking clean and also remove soot from its flues. It was replaced by a tile fireplace from a fireplace shop at the junction of Swinegate and Sovereign Street, but I can't remember their name.

I put his name into Google and after a page or two the Leodis links appeared.
