I vaguely recall a fire at a shop owned by Jack Charlton but I also vaguely (likely wrong!) recall that it was on Harehills Lane. I cannot recall the year. I wonder if the shop on the right was an early Anne Summers!

Sorry going off on one here, but the old Hovis signs are still up above the shops on that parade, saw pic on geog org thing.

Shop on fire is 283 Roundhay Road. It is now Lota Properties and and is between Rehman Michael, Karim & Co and Digwa & Cousins on one side, and on the other Darvish Persian restaurant (which I would recommend - it was very good in there!)

I put Jack Charlton, Shop Fire and Roundhay Road into the search and it gives me the open air pool in Roundhay Park. Something on there is goosed, I know it's on there as I've seen it before.
