Does anyone remember what the original use of this building on Hall Lane, Armley was? - I recall walking past it as a kid but can't remember what the shop sold.http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ,,0,-0.63I mention this because it was busted by the Police during the week - cannabis growing inside!

The shoe shop I think you are referring to Chris was S Peck which was on the same side as Alf Learoyd's.Me mam used to take me and our kid to Pecks when she used to have a Provident Cheque.( Anyone else remember the Provident Cheques?)The picture is of the old CO-OP.The side entrance used to have a couple of the Electric Milk floats that the milkie used to walk round the streets with.S.Peck Boot and Shoe Shop.http://www.leodis.org/display.aspx?reso ... 6_53750247
