SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

There used to be a family run sandwich shop on Burley Road, not too far from Yorkshire Television, back in the mid to late 70's. I wonder is it still around?

When Radio Aire used to have commentary on the Leeds United games (three years ago now?), Bradders was forever banging on about the excellent bacon butties from a shop on Burley Road.Given that Radio Aire is right next door to YTV, I wonder if it's the same one? I can't remember the name of the shop though - although given the amount of plugs it got during most matches I'd be surprised if he ever actually paid for a sandwich!
