Was back in Leeds recently and drove up Whitehall Road passing the spot where Dunlops bridge used to cross the road. There is now a new housing estate entrance in its place. Can anyone remember exactly when the bridge was pulled down. From what I remember it will have been maybe late 80's very early 90's.Remember when we were young you could climb up the backs of the bill-boards that were attached to the bridge supports.Using the bridge we were able to get all the way to school (Farnley Park) without having to cross a road.I also remember when trains were still in use at Dunlops and were often seen crossing the bridge.
