Where is this? In the new Schofields / Headrow Centre? yes reg, its being developed, totally redone, still looks like a ghost town, i get confused with this one and the leeds shopping plaza. so this arcade will link the redeveloped Headrow centre and Lands Lane. I also noticed they are doing some pointless work on paving stones outside. one part is tarmac t'other is like brickwork!

I walked past there today. Isn't it the "King Charles Arcade"? Part of 'The Core' as the marketing people are trying to re-name it, but destined to still be called 'The Schofields' for evermore. On a related note, I can remember part of The Schofields being (possibly) a public right of way and vocal groups of a certain leaning making a point of having walks through there on a regular basis in order to keep it as such. Is that still the case? Presumably it's where the street was between the two old Schofields buildings?

On a tangental note, in Liverpool there's a big shopping centre called Liverpool 1. In it Everton FC have a club shop. They've called it Everton 2. Think about it!

I haven't been in the city for years but I would imagine it will be called King Charles Arcade cos' the King Charles pub used to stand where the Schofield Centre was built.Anybody got any pictures of the old pub?
