Anybody remember Dunkirk Hill in Armley? It's now just the patch of grass above the Armley Mills Car Park on canal road but there used to be a little hamlet there, looked like a farm between the train tracks and the canal. Cleared in the 60's I think. Pics on Leodis.

I work at Farnell over the road on Canal Road and everyone here calls it "Gay Man's Hill."

Sp probably not advisable to go looking for remains of the old Dove Cote then? Mind you, "looking for doves" is probably some sort of act that I don't want to think about.
